The LATAM Tender Manager will be responsible for facilitating an RFQ/P/I (tender) process for large, global, and Regional strategic accounts across multiple modes and geographies, often spanning over multiple years.
This role will bridge the commercial resources on an opportunity to the pricing and product expertise necessary to win, retain, and grow global forwarding revenues and volumes.
Manage the RFQ/P/I (tender) qualification process for new and existing customer opportunities Indirectly manage pricing teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders to the scope and schedule of a tender Prepare and review the commercial and operational aspects of the tender, ensuring all services are included in the final proposal to the customer Lead collaboration and communication efforts with LATAM and Corporate stakeholders (when needed) to optimize tender strategy Track risks and propose mitigations alternatives throughout the tender process Create professional written responses to RFI’s and RFP’s, addressing client’s objectives Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound tenders Consult customers and global network on optimized tender management practices Review global /LATAM pricing with product managers to ensure optimal pricing is applied for each lane Arrange all pre and post bid reviews with leadership, P&L owners and commercial resources, as well as post contract award Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications.
Three to five years previous global forwarding operations, sales, and/or pricing experience Demonstrated verbal and written communication and multi-tasking skills, including excellent project and meeting management Technical proficiency in MS Office Preferred Qualifications.
Robinson branch network experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills Advanced MS Excel and data/rate management skills Benefits We offer a competitive benefits plan above the Mexican Labor Law.
